Policy Balance Hub was born out of firsthand frustration. Our founders spent years working as CPAs and consultants for independent insurance agencies. Month after month, they watched talented professionals waste days hunched over spreadsheets, manually matching carrier commission statements to bank deposits, line by painful line.

The tools that existed were either generic accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero) that did not understand insurance workflows, or legacy enterprise systems that cost six figures, required months of implementation, and assumed a full-time admin to operate. Small and mid-sized agencies — the ones writing 200 to 20,000 policies a year — were stuck choosing between spreadsheet hell and a procurement cycle they could not justify.

We built Policy Balance Hub for that gap. The platform is designed specifically for the work an insurance agency actually does: matching premium deposits across dozens of carriers, tracking producer commission splits and chargebacks, maintaining trust account compliance under state regulatory scrutiny, and catching the short payments and unpaid endorsements that quietly drain revenue every month.

We focus on the workflow, not the buzzwords. Carriers send statements in every format imaginable — PDF, CSV, Excel, scanned images, secure portal downloads — and Policy Balance Hub normalizes them into a single reconciliation pipeline that your team can actually close on time.
